We collect your precise geographic location (GPS) to calculate accurate Venus Hora times, sunrise, and sunset times for your area. This is required for the core hora calculation feature. We request your express permission before collecting this data. Location data is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers.
When you use the Bhagavad Gita Q&A feature, your questions are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your questions. Gita Q&A history is stored locally on your device only.
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data to serve relevant ads. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
If you subscribe to ShukraSense Pro, your purchase is processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. RevenueCat manages subscription status. We do not store your payment information.

Most data in ShukraSense is stored locally on your device using a secure SQLite database. This includes:
We do not operate our own servers to store your personal data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
We collect your precise location only after requesting your explicit permission via the operating system's permission dialog. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. If location permission is denied, hora time calculations will not be available.
Location data is used solely for hora calculations and is transmitted to Sunrise-Sunset.org (latitude/longitude only) to retrieve sun times. It is not shared with advertisers or stored beyond your session.
ShukraSense displays ads via Google AdMob for free-tier users. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and usage data to serve personalized advertisements. We do not pass any personally identifiable information to Google.
For users in the EU/EEA, we present a consent dialog (Google UMP) before serving personalized ads. You may update your ad preferences at any time via the Settings screen in the app.
We do not target advertisements based on religious beliefs, health information, or other sensitive categories. The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device's ad settings or visiting Google's Ad Settings.
ShukraSense is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at feedback@shukrasense.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Location data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Local app data is protected by your device's security model.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
